Dustin Moskovitz, CEO and Co-Founder

Dustin Moskovitz is the co-founder and CEO of Asana. As Asana’s CEO, Dustin is dedicated to creating a product that helps the world’s teams collaborate effortlessly, in addition to leading the company’s award-winning culture. Prior to founding Asana, Dustin co-founded Facebook and served as the company’s first Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering. Dustin majored in economics at Harvard University prior to joining Facebook full-time in 2004.

Anna Binder, People Operations

Anna has spent most of her career working in people operations human resources at technology start-ups, connecting people programs to business objectives and values. As head of people operations at Asana, she leads the company’s efforts in recruiting, total rewards, diversity and inclusion, learning, development, and employee engagement. Before joining Asana, Anna worked in similar roles at MuleSoft, Readyforce, and IronPort Systems.

She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Oregon and an MBA from IESE in Spain.

Tim Wan, Head of Finance

Tim Wan is the Head of Finance at Asana, responsible for accounting and financial planning for all business operations. Before joining Asana, Tim served as CFO at Apigee, a leading SaaS provider of API platform technology and services for enterprises and developers. During his tenure, Tim successfully led the company through its IPO and eventual acquisition by Google. Prior to Apigee, Tim spent 13 years at Real Networks, including serving as the company’s CFO. Tim earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and MBA from the University of Southern California.

Chris Farinacci, Head of Business

Chris Farinacci is Asana’s Head of Business, leading the company’s business growth and go-to-market efforts, including sales, marketing, business development and customer operations. Before joining Asana, Chris led global marketing for Google’s enterprise and education businesses, responsible for helping scale it to a multi-billion-dollar business. Prior to Google, he held a variety of leadership positions including CMO of Hara, VP of Application Marketing at Oracle and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Agile Software. Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Eleanor Lacey, General Counsel

Eleanor Lacey is the General Counsel and Head of Legal at Asana. Eleanor oversees Asana’s legal department including all areas of privacy, compliance, IP, and commercial. Prior to joining Asana, Eleanor served as Chief Legal Officer for cyber security software company Sophos. Before her time at Sophos, Eleanor led the legal teams for a number of leading B2B and B2C companies including SurveyMonkey, Corel Corporation and Niku Corporation. Eleanor received her JD from Yale Law School and B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in addition to studying Mandarin at the University of California, Santa Cruz and Tunghai University in Taiwan.

Alex Hood, Head of Product

Alex Hood is Asana’s Head of Product, leading the company’s product strategy and product organization, including product management, design and user research. Prior to Asana, Alex was a VP of Product Management at Intuit and led QuickBooks Online. Alex was also the VP of Product at TubeMogul, which is now Adobe’s Advertising Cloud, and held positions at the Nasdaq Stock Market. Alex received his B.A. from American University and MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prashant Pandey, Engineering

As head of engineering, Prashant leads Asana’s growing engineering organization towards high velocity, sustainability, and quality. Before joining Asana, Prashant started and led the Bay Area team building Amazon DynamoDB, a fully managed NoSQL database service. He also led engineering for mobile advertising start-up Vdopia and worked on storage systems at IBM Research.

Prashant earned an M.S. in Computer Science from UIUC, and a BTech(Hons) in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani.

Dave King, Head of Marketing

Dave King is the Head of Marketing at Asana. Specializing in B2B enterprise marketing and growth, Dave oversees Asana’s global marketing efforts, including product marketing, communications, analyst relations, sales enablement and customer marketing. Prior to joining Asana, Dave led the marketing teams at Percolate, Highfive and Salesforce. Dave received his B.S. in Cognitive Science from Duke University and MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Oliver Jay, Head of Global Sales & Business Development

Oliver Jay is Head of Global Sales and Business Development at Asana, overseeing the company’s sales organization and international expansion efforts. Prior to Asana, Oliver built and led the North America Online and Inside Business Sales Teams for Dropbox, in addition to serving as the Head of Asia Pacific and Latin America. Oliver holds a B.A from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
